ALT Annual Picnic

ALT, in partnership with the Maine Department of Conservation, Bates College and the Androscoggin River Watershed Council, will host its Annual Picnic and Barbecue on Saturday, July 25. Events will include hiking the Homestead Trail at the Androscoggin Riverlands State Park and joining participants on the Source to Sea Trek for a paddle around Gulf Island Pond on the Androscoggin River.

Hiking and paddling events begin at 10:00 am at the Center Bridge Road boat access in Turner. All are welcome and encouraged to join ALT members and friends for the picnic and barbecue, set to begin at noon, and hosted this year at the Bates College Boathouse in Greene. Tours of the boathouse and program highlights from Bates rowing coach Peter Steenstra will also be available.
