Snowshoe Hike at Sherwood Conservation Area for Auburn Winterfest

Join the Auburn Conservation Commission, ALT volunteers and staff on one of several family-friendly snowshoe hikes at ALT conserved property, Sherwood Forest Conservation Area behind Sherwood Heights Elementary School in Auburn. Several hikes on the White Trail trail will be led (.3 miles) in approximately 30 min intervals starting at 11AM. Directions: Park along Sherwood Drive in Auburn and walk behind the school towards the playground/swing sets where there is a trailhead entrance. There will be a sign indicating the approximate times of the next guided hikes.
What to bring: snowshoes, poles (optional), water and a snack, warm clothing (layers suggested).
FYI – Several pairs of snowshoes will also be available to borrow if the request is made in advance. Please message ALT via messenger, via email or by calling the office to request them.
