This year, #GivingTuesday falls on November 27. Founded in 2012, #GivingTuesday is a global giving movement of individuals, families, organizations, businesses and communities around the world. Millions of people have come together to support and champion the causes they believe in and the communities where they live.
Your #GivingTuesday gift to the Androscoggin Land Trust supports the long-term. Your dollars help us to conserve and steward critical land in perpetuity for Androscoggin River watershed protection, wildlife habitat, natural resources, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Since 1989, with your support, ALT has conserved more than 6,000 acres of wildlands, riverways, farmland, and forestland for wildlife habitat, agriculture, drinking water, recreation, and more. Your support matters! Gifts from our members account for a quarter of our annual budget, allowing us, in a changing climate, to keep pace with Maine’s conservation needs and stewardship expectations.
The donations we receive on #GivingTuesday — and every day — are used for conservation, stewardship, education, and outdoor community engagement work in the 19 communities we serve in the Andoscoggin River Watershed.
