Earth Day Trails Clean Up 2019
April 20, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Free**ALT Trail Project as part of Earth Day event Cancelled**
The forecast over the next couple of days is not favorable for trail work conditions. In the interest of being good trail stewards we do not want to be tromping through wet muddy trails and impacting the terrain Therefore, we are cancelling with plans to reschedule TBD, depending on the extended forecast. PLEASE NOTE: the larger community event organized by UMVA Lewiston-Auburn and the Downtown Lewiston Arts District is being rescheduled to occur Saturday, April 27. Please check out the great opportunities for projects that will still be happening April 27 instead of April 20. We hope you find many ways to celebrate Earth Day this week and every week!
OUR PROJECT:
Help ALT prepare this special trail system for Summer use! We will be practicing good trail stewardship at Sherwood Forest Conservation Area by clearing the trails and the outdoor classroom of downed sticks and fallen trees.
